 Daytime lessons are beneficial

Music Kids offers a unique in-school approach where the majority of our lessons take place during regular school hours.  One day out of the week, our teacher will pick up their student from their regularly scheduled class for a 30-minute lesson, after which the student returns to their normal class schedule.  This approach has shown to be beneficial for students both musically and academically.  Moreover, students have shown to be energized and refocused as they return to their normal class work after their lesson.  The convenience of this approach has been applauded by parents whose busy schedules often preclude them from transporting their children to and from music lessons.

No financial cost to school

We recognize the important responsibility of school administrators to conserve funds brought in by tuition and fundraising.  That’s why we structured our business model so as to incur no financial cost to school budgets.  No money exchanges hands between Music Kids and our schools.  When one of our teachers is brought into your school, arrangements for on-site lessons will be made privately with interested parents.  Music Kids requires minimal time and resources from school administrators – we ask only for the following:

• Flexibility in procuring a physical space on-site for weekly individual lessons, monthly group lessons, and semi-annual student recitals
• A few minutes at your “Back To School Night” to present ourselves to your community
• Willingness to raise awareness among students and their parents (examples: website announcements, mailings to parents, student “take-home” materials, newsletters, etc.)
