Music lessons enhance children’s development

Learning to play a musical instrument at an early age accelerates a child’s academic, physical, and mental development. Our specialized music teachers strive to improve a child’s coordination, dexterity, focus, listening skills, and mental capacity.  This is done through activities that create synergy between both hemispheres of the brain.  In addition to providing children with artistic skill and appreciation that will last a lifetime, early childhood music education immediately trains their minds and bodies to better understand and react to the world around them.

Convenience of in-school lessons

Many parents have busy schedules which make transporting their children to and from afterschool music lessons practically impossible. That’s why Music Kids parents appreciate the convenience of our unique in-school approach. Instead of competing with other afterschool activities your child may be involved in, the majority of our lessons take place during regular school hours. Parents are always welcome to attend lessons if they wish, but it is not required. Music Kids provides the high-quality education you expect from a Suzuki-based method without the commute.

Daytime lessons are beneficial

One day out of the week, our teacher will pick up their student from their regularly scheduled class for a 30-minute lesson, after which the student returns to their normal class schedule.  This approach has shown to be beneficial for students both musically and academically.  When music education is a part of the in-school experience, not just another extracurricular activity, students are more dedicated to their musical growth.  Moreover, students are energized and refocused as they return to their normal class work after their music lessons.

Our teachers will be your guide

You don’t need to be a musical whiz in order for your child to play an instrument!  Our highly-trained teachers will be alongside you to help every step of the way.  They will provide personalized advice about renting an instrument and helping your child practice at home. They will explain musical concepts in down-to-earth terms so that you can fully participate in your child’s learning experience.
