Josiah Lambert, Executive Director, received at Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from American University. Mr. Lambert has served both as a Music Kids educator, teaching lessons at The Harbor School in Bethesda, Maryland and as the Director of Program Development before becoming the Executive Director for Music Kids in 2009. Mr. Lambert has an extensive background as a musician. He served as concertmaster for the American University Symphony Orchestra and was the 2006 winner of the American University Symphony Orchestra Concerto and Aria Competition. Mr. Lambert is the contact point for schools who wish to partner with Music Kids and bring the program to their students or teachers who wish to begin working for Music Kids.

Elizabeth Parrott, Director of Program Management, attended George Mason University, where she received a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance along with a minor in Business Administration. While at George Mason, she performed with the George Mason University Symphony Orchestra, the George Mason University Chamber Orchestra and the George Mason University Opera Orchestra. Ms. Parrott was selected as a soloist for the George Mason University Chamber Orchestra's performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. During her college career, Ms. Parrott taught private violin, viola and piano lessons extensively in the Northern Virginia area. Upon graduation, Ms. Parrott entered American University on a fellowship to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Arts Management. Ms. Parrott served as an intern in marketing for local theater companies and as the American University Symphony Orchestra Manager while completing her graduate studies. She joined the Music Kids team in 2009 as the Director of Program Management. Ms. Parrott will be happy to assist with your questions about billing, registration and scheduling.

Emily Mahler McClung, Director of Pedagogy, received a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance at Vanderbilt University in 2005 where she studied on a Dean's Merit Scholarship. While at Vanderbilt, she was nominated for and received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Jean Keller Heard Award for Outstanding String Performance. She received a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance with an Emphasis in Suzuki Pedagogy at the University of Maryland in 2007. Notable teachers have included Judith Starr-Lassen, Jerri Lucktenburg, Stephen Redfield, Sally Thomas, Connie Heard and Ronda Cole. She has received Suzuki training from Michelle George and Ronda Cole, and has attended numerous summer music festivals including Interlochen Arts Camp, Meadowmount School of Music and Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory. She has taught Suzuki violin lessons and group classes in both private studios and music schools since 1997. In 2006, she became a founding teacher for Music Kids and currently serves as the company's Director of Pedagogy.
